What a fab day that was at Chocolate Fayre yesterday! I had so many lovely conversations with some of our regular customers, as well as many visitors to the town.
It’s a great feeling when people head back out from the shop, with a broad smile and a cheery goodbye, having had a great Chocolate Fayre experience. Whether it’s been the initial look of excitement and anticipation on seeing the six shelves stacked with tempting chocolates in the cabinet; the comfort of a pot of their favourite blend of tea over a chat with good friends in the Coffee Lounge; the anticipation of the excitement that the box of chocolates will bring as the perfect gift for a loved one on a special occasion; a refreshing iced chocolate, enjoyed in the sunshine of the Secret Garden, while their youngsters burn off energy outside; a little selection of chocolate treats to take home in a pink and white striped paper bag, just for them; or the delight at unexpectedly receiving a complimentary rich dark truffle with their coffee. It’s what we’ve always tried to do by Spreading Happiness with Chocolate.
